Yes! Security Shredding comes to your location to destroy your documents. You can even watch your documents being shredded. We also accept documents for destruction at our warehouse, if that works better for you.

How much will a box of paper weigh?

As a very good estimate:

10″H x 12″W x 15″L = 35 lbs.
10″H x 12″W x 18″L = 50 lbs.
10″H x 15″W x 24″L = 75 lbs.

Will I need to remove staples, clips, brackets, fasteners, or binders before my documents are destroyed?

Absolutely not! Our industrial shredders will chew through anything – including computer hard drives.

What happens to the paper that is shredded by Security Shredding?

Security Shredding recycles all of the paper that is shredded by our team. In fact, we recycle everything that we destroy. This includes plastics and metal in addition to paper products.

Will my computer hard drive actually be destroyed and unreadable?

While many companies will use a hydraulic punch to put a hole through the hard drive discs and call it destroyed, Security Shredding will actually shred the hard drive into tiny pieces that could never be put back together. Your confidential data can never be read again.
